Poppy is my favorite sweater in Yarnplay. it was so much fun to knit! it's exciting to decide where you want to place garter stitch ridges and where you want to knit stripes in Silk Garden. i am really looking forward to seeing what you guys do with this pattern! i'd really like to knit one in shades of blue, but who knows when i'll get around to making that happen! please email me photos of your completed Poppy and i'll post them here.
now for a little errata business... there is a slight inconsistency amongst the schematics when it comes to sleeves. the sleeve schematic for Poppy gives measurements for the entire sleeve, including the sleeve cap. the measurements to the underarms are as follows; 20" (20", 20", 20.5", 20.5"). as you can see in the photo below this is meant to be a super long sleeve. if you want to lose an inch on the sleeve i suggest working 1 less round between increases, to lose 2 inches work 2 fewer rounds between increases. remember to subtract that inch or two from the the final sleeve measurement to armhole!
It's beautiful. I can't wait to get the book!

I love the book! Congratulations. I love your comments about each projects especially the comment about "sweaters as spiritual armor". I can relate to that.

I just got the book today and it does not disappoint. Normally I don't buy books based on the cover but I saw Poppy and it became an instant must knit. I love the book and the photography is excellent the colour come alive.

I love, love, love your new book. I had to choose between yours and two other newly published knitting books. Yours won hands down. Congrats.
